If you are finding it difficult to find short term car insurance then one option is to consider a pay as you go policy. This works much the same way as daily insurance except it is taken out at a month at a time with the minimum of 1 months cover. Whilst this might not be the solution to most young drivers needs it will help other drivers under 25 who only need insurance for a short period of time.
The cost of a policy is pretty competitive compared to a daily policy and you will find that if you want to drive for more than one day during that month it may well work out cheaper for you.
